    IISLAMABAD Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a bearish trend during early trading on Wednesday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling by more than 600 points. At the start of the third trading session of the week, the index declined 600-plus points to reach 168,732 points.

    A day earlier, the benchmark index witnessed bullish trend on Tuesday, gaining 1,421.67 points, a positive change of 0.85 percent, to close at 169,392.33 points against 167,970.66 points recorded in the previous trading session.

    The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 372.016 million shares, compared to 570.472 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value stood at Rs17.210 billion, down from Rs24.672 billion. Market capitalisation increased to Rs18.857 trillion from Rs18.728 trillion recorded a day earlier.
