    LLONDON —Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday and attended the market-opening ceremony, where he highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen its economy and improve macroeconomic stability. Addressing the ceremony, PM inister Shehbaz Sharif said it was an honour for him to be invited to the London Stock Exchange’s market-opening event.

    He said Pakistan had worked extensively in recent years to strengthen the national economy and improve economic stability. The prime minister said the country’s macroeconomic indicators were continuing to move in a positive direction, while measures taken to achieve economic stability were beginning to produce encouraging results.

    Shehbaz Sharif said the government would continue working in the right direction to ensure that Pakistan reached a more secure and stable economic position. He also praised the efforts of Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and other officials for their contribution to the country’s economic development and stabilisation.
