    KKARACHI —The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a bearish trend at the opening of trading on the first day of the business week, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling more than 1,200 points. The KSE-100 Index dropped to 166,850 points after losing over 1,200 points in early trading.

    The benchmark index had closed at 168,155 points at the end of the previous trading week.
