Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the border region of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 220 kilometres, placing its focus deep beneath the Earth’s surface.
Residents in several areas reported feeling the tremors, although there were no immediate reports of casualties, structural damage or other major losses following the earthquake. Authorities and relevant agencies are expected to continue monitoring the situation and assess any possible effects.
