MMUMBAI —Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan continued his long-standing tradition of meeting fans despite security concerns, but adopted a different approach this time by greeting admirers from behind a protective glass enclosure outside his residence.
During the last week of October, an educational institution in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) received an email threatening to target Amitabh Bachchan's residence with a bomb. Following the threat, Mumbai Police launched an investigation and further tightened security arrangements for the veteran actor.
On November 1, 2026, Amitabh Bachchan arrived outside his bungalow, Jalsa, in Mumbai's Juhu area to meet his fans, as a large number of admirers had gathered there to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood star.

However, unlike his usual appearances, the actor greeted his fans from behind a protective glass barrier, reflecting the heightened security measures following the bomb threat. Despite the security concerns, Bachchan maintained his tradition of meeting fans who regularly gather outside his residence to see him.
