Following the latest revision, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs367.75 per litre, while diesel will be sold at Rs392.67 per litre. The Petroleum Division said the revised prices will remain in effect for one day, starting September 10.

People said rising inflation had already made it difficult for families to meet their daily expenses, warning that another increase in petroleum prices would push up transportation costs and make essential goods more expensive.
