The Provincial Assembly Secretariat has sent a letter to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IG, seeking complete details of all incidents involving members of the assembly, ministers, advisors, special assistants and parliamentary secretaries during the last two weeks.
The letter has directed the IG to provide records related to the arrest, detention of the relevant individuals and raids, attacks and searches of their residences. Relevant reports and FIRs filed in police stations, as well as records of people who reported incidents to the police, have also been sought.
The Assembly Secretariat has directed that the required complete record be provided immediately so that it can be presented before the Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

The letter stated that the information has been sought under Articles 66, 67 and 127 of the Constitution of Pakistan, while reference has also been made to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Rules and Procedures 2025 and the Provincial Assembly Powers, Privileges and Privileges Act 2026.
