“Water supply disruptions continued in parts of Orangi Town and Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Monday, leaving residents struggling to meet their daily needs and forcing many to purchase water from tankers at infl…”

In Orangi Town, a major water line in Sector 12 has reportedly been affected for the past three days, while a leak near Dakhana in Orangi Town No 8 is resulting in the wastage of thousands of gallons of water.

Residents said they had repeatedly approached Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) officials to report the problem, but repair work had yet to begin despite the passage of three days. With regular supplies disrupted, households in Sector 12 have been relying on stored water and private tankers.

Meanwhile, parts of Gulshan-e-Iqbal remained without a normal water supply for the sixth consecutive day. Although repair work on an affected 33-inch water line has been completed, residents said supplies had not returned to normal.
