The results were announced at a ceremony at the FBISE building in Islamabad. Minister for Education Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui attended the results ceremony as chief guest. FBISE Chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik said 212,416 candidates appeared in the annual examinations, while 1,237 staff members took part in the preparation of the results.
"Seven cases of cheating were reported during the examinations," Malik said. The overall pass percentage stood at 85.95 per cent, while female candidates recorded a higher passing percentage than male candidates. Read:Poor SSC-I results put Punjab schools under fire.
In the pre-medical group, Ammara Azhar secured first position with 1,079 marks, while Muhammad Jahanzeb secured second position with 1,078 marks and Syeda Iman Fatima stood third with 1,076 marks. In the pre-engineering group, Rameen Arjumand secured first position with 1,075 marks, followed by Zainab Sami with 1,070 marks and Insa Fatima with 1,068 marks.

Emaan Fatima secured first position in the humanities group with 1,007 marks. In the commerce group, Aqsa Farooq secured first position with 1,051 marks, Aiza Afzal stood second with 1,047 marks, while Amina Asif secured third position with 1,046 marks.
Abdullah Azhar secured first position in the general science group with 1,063 marks. Candidates will be able to check their results through three different sources on the Federal Board's website,.
