The PM has directed the bureaucracy to take practical steps to provide immediate relief to the common man, create new employment opportunities, launch programmes for the youth, and improve health and travel facilities. Iftikhar Gilani said that the government's performance will not be limited to mere announcements, but its results will be visible on the ground.
Reducing the problems of the common man is the government's top agenda. A meeting of the government secretaries chaired by Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani was held at the Prime Minister's Secretariat here on Wednesday.
Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani said that the government's top priority is to create convenience for the common man and provide new opportunities by bringing reforms in the system. The challenges faced will be resolved with the cooperation of the bureaucracy and the government and administration will work to solve public problems through teamwork.
"Stay connected with Aman-e-Pakistan for ongoing live reporting and verified investigative updates."
He said that important responsibilities rest on the shoulders of the bureaucracy, the government and the administration will work together and the people should see practical change. He said that the government will take steps on a priority to provide relief to the common man in the travel facilities and health sector.
Providing basic facilities to the people and improving the government system is an important part of the government's agenda. The PM directed the bureaucracy to immediately start implementing the 100-day reform agenda and all departments to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
The government's agenda is the agenda of the common man and the government will take steps on a priority basis to reduce the problems of the people. He said that the government wants to show the people of Azad Kashmir that it has come for their betterment, welfare and solution of their problems.
The 100-day reform agenda is a clear roadmap of the government's priorities, through the implementation of which improvements will be brought at the administrative and public levels. Iftikhar Gilani said that the 100-day reform agenda also shows the seriousness of the central leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in resolving the issues of Azad Kashmir and public problems.
Earlier, when Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani arrived at his office, he was given a grand welcome. Principal Secretary Sardar Adnan Khurshid and the officers and staff of the Prime Minister's Secretariat welcomed him.
