Gandapur walks out of parliamentary meeting after dispute with barrister Gohar

“Differences reportedly emerged between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Faisal Amin Gandapur and Barrister Gohar during a seven-hour joint parliamentary party meeting over making parliamentary c…”
Faisal Amin Gandapur objected to the position, reportedly questioning why decisions were being made subject to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Nasir if they were not present at the meeting. Sources said Gandapur subsequently walked out of the parliamentary committee meeting while criticising the opposition leader.
He also proposed that members return to their respective standing committees. Barrister Gohar, however, stated that the parliamentary committee did not have the authority to decide on returning to the standing committees. He also indicated that such a move would take place without the PTI founder's involvement.
Other members reportedly said they would resign from the standing committees again if the PTI founder raised objections to their return. Despite the meeting lasting seven hours, sources said the decisions remained conditional, highlighting differences within the party over the approval process and the future course of parliamentary proceedings.
