The operation was carried out as part of ongoing actions against militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision., security personnel pursued the militants and carried out a targeted operation against their positions. Several militant hideouts were also destroyed during the operation, the sources said.
The sources added that security forces’ operations targeting militant positions had restricted the terrorists’ ability to operate in the area. Security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism and establishing lasting peace under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has appreciated the security forces for carrying out a successful IBO against militants in Eidak, North Waziristan. He called the security forces personnel national heroes, saying their efforts had helped thwart terror plans.

The interior minister also praised the professional capabilities of the security forces for successfully targeting the militants.
