The two sides also stressed the importance of strengthening institutional linkages between the security institutions of Pakistan and Lebanon and enhancing mutual cooperation, the military’s media wing said. Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties with Lebanon and expressed a desire to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of common interest.

He also acknowledged the professional capabilities and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army in the fight against terrorism.
The meeting comes amid evolving security challenges in the region and reflects efforts by Pakistan and Lebanon to deepen institutional engagement and cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation in the security sector, with a focus on shared interests and regional stability.
