    LLAHORE Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the provision of seven more electric buses for Sargodha. Members of the Punjab Assembly from Sargodha called on Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

    The delegation included Provincial Minister Sohaib Ahmed Malik, Mansoor Azam, Mian Sultan Ranjha, Ikram-ul-Haq, Safdar Hussain Sahi, Rana Munawar Hussain, Taimur Ali Khan and Sardar Asim Sher Maken. The provincial assembly members praised the establishment of the Sargodha Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology and its completion in record time.

    They also thanked the chief minister for launching the electrobus service in Sargodha. On the occasion, Maryam Nawaz announced the provision of seven additional electric buses for Sargodha and directed the lawmakers to closely monitor the Model Village, Suthra Punjab Programme and clean water project.

    The meeting also discussed suggestions and recommendations for accelerating ongoing development projects, while the provincial assembly members briefed the chief minister on positive public feedback regarding the development projects. The lawmakers said thousands of people were benefiting from the electrobus service every day in Bhalwal, Bhera, Sillanwali, University, DHQ, Shahinabad, Kot Momin and Tehsil Sahiwal.

    They described the establishment of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology in Sargodha as an unforgettable initiative. The provincial assembly members said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s welfare projects were being appreciated not only across Pakistan but also abroad.

    Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said she felt deeply satisfied seeing people, particularly children and women, enjoying comfortable travel on the electric buses. She said every city, including Sargodha, had been put on the path of development and that all resources were available to facilitate the people.

    She said development across every part of Punjab without discrimination was the vision of Nawaz Sharif.
