    The MPAs from Sahiwal district met with the Chief Minister and discussed various political and development-related matters. Those who met CM Maryam Nawaz included Wilayat Shah, Qasim Nadeem, Arshad Malik, Nadeem Aslam Lodhi, Rana Riaz Ahmed and Muhammad Hanif.

    During the meeting, CM Maryam Nawaz announced that 14 more electric buses would soon be provided in Sahiwal. She also directed the MPAs to maintain close oversight of the quality and transparency of development projects underway in the city.

    The MPAs appreciated the Chief Minister’s public welfare initiatives and termed the beautification of Sahiwal city a remarkable and historic initiative. They also praised development projects being executed in cities and villages across Punjab under the Punjab Development Project.

    They appreciated the initiative to establish 10 state-of-the-art Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in Sahiwal Division and expressed gratitude for sewerage and drainage projects in Sahiwal and other cities. They said special focus on addressing genuine public issues for the first time is encouraging.

    The MPAs also termed the launch of electric buses in Sahiwal a commendable initiative, saying the buses are providing travel facilities to thousands of people on routes including Arifwala Bypass, Yousafwala, Noor Shah, KFC Bypass, General Bus Stand to Kameer, Adda Sabeel and Bala Mor.

    CM Maryam Nawaz thanked the MPAs for their appreciation and said development projects are now being extended beyond major cities to the village level. She said the Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence would provide equal educational opportunities to children from poor and affluent families.

    The Chief Minister said the standard of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence would be no less than that of any leading private school.
