KP CM says PTI will stand with Sindh in struggle for rights, democracy

Addressing a convention at the Sindh High Court Bar, Afridi said his visit to Sindh was his final engagement and thanked residents for the “love and respect” they had shown him.
He criticised the provincial government, alleging that while PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari welcomed him, roads were blocked with containers, pits were dug and PTI workers, including women, were mistreated. Apologising to Sindh’s people over the condition of roads, Afridi questioned whether the provincial government was actually responsive to public concerns.
He also alleged that Pakistan’s assemblies had not been formed on genuine public mandates and challenged political leaders claiming to champion Sindh’s rights to resign from their constitutional offices to allow “real democracy” to flourish. Afridi vowed that PTI would stand with Sindh even if sacrifices were required. He criticised Punjab’s government and accused authorities of portraying other provinces as a greater threat than India. On Afghanistan, he said Pakistan and Afghanistan shared cultural and religious ties and called for peaceful relations.
Afridi also criticised the judicial system, alleging selective enforcement of law and non-compliance with court orders concerning former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Calling for political change, he said PTI’s support in Sindh had strengthened and urged lawyers to lead the struggle, asserting that the public would stand behind them.
