IISLAMABAD —Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has been appointed Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), with his appointment taking effect immediately. The Establishment Division has also issued a notification appointing Captain (retd) Sohail Chaudhry as Inspector General of Islamabad Police.
Meanwhile, Syed Khurram Ali, who was awaiting a new assignment at the Establishment Division, has been appointed Director General of the National Police Bureau (NPB)., Khurram Ali’s appointment will take effect immediately and remain in force until further orders. He belongs to the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP).
Captain (r) Sohail Chaudhry will assume charge as Islamabad Inspector General, replacing Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has been appointed to head the NCCIA.
