The meeting began in Islamabad as discussions focused on developments in the province. Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has also convened an important meeting at the Aiwan-i-Sadr to assess the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sources said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to meet President Zardari.
The premier is likely to visit the Aiwan-i-Sadr after meeting Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Adviser to the Prime Minister Amir Muqam.
