LLAHORE —Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has revealed that she experienced severe emotional distress just 12 days before her marriage and began thinking about suicide during a difficult period linked to her dispute with Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about the intense mental pressure she faced before her marriage.
She said the situation surrounding her dispute with Saqib Chadhar caused her severe emotional distress. Momina said fears that her private material could be made public placed her under such intense pressure that she began thinking about suicide only 12 days before her marriage.
She said she was emotionally completely broken during that period. The actress said she was also afraid that Hamza would leave her because of the situation. However, she said her fiancé stood by her instead and gave her the courage and strength to face the difficult circumstances.
