CSS 2026 written exam results announced, pass rate stands at 2.74%

A total of 24,321 candidates submitted applications for the CSS examination. Of these, 17,351 candidates appeared in at least one paper of the written examination, while 16,342 appeared in all papers. The CSS 2026 written examination was conducted from February 4 to 15, 2026.
The FPSC has published the list of successful candidates on its official website. The schedule for their medical examinations, psychological assessments and interviews will be announced later. The CSS examination process began with the Multiple Choice Questions Preliminary Test (MPT), for which 63,368 candidates submitted applications.
Of these, 43,189 candidates appeared in the MPT, while 36,758 candidates qualified for the next stage. The written examination is a major stage in the competitive examination process through which candidates are selected for appointments to Pakistan’s federal civil services.

The successful candidates will now proceed to the next stages of the selection process, including medical examination, psychological assessment and viva voce.
