Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem enjoy stylish date night at 'Bunker' premiere

“Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem turned the Toronto International Film Festival into a stylish date night as they attended the premiere of their new film Bunker together. The married couple coordinated …”
The married couple coordinated their looks for the red carpet, with Cruz wearing a chic black ensemble while Bardem opted for a sleek, more casual look. The appearance came just days after Bunker premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where it received a 16-minute standing ovation.
Directed by Florian Zeller, Bunker stars Cruz and Bardem as a married couple whose 17-year relationship is tested after Bardem's character, architect Miguel, agrees to design a survivalist bunker for a tech billionaire. Zeller wrote the film specifically with Cruz and Bardem in mind, wanting to explore themes of love, forgiveness and the complexities of a long-term relationship.
The couple, who have been married since 2010, have also previously worked together on films including Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Loving Pablo. Despite the intense subject matter, Cruz and Bardem have described working together as a positive experience.

Their latest red-carpet appearance offered another glimpse of the couple balancing their personal relationship with their long-running professional partnership. Bunker is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on December 10.
