The initiative is intended to give students an understanding of the basic concepts of AI as well as its practical applications in different fields., AI education will help students develop essential technological skills while also improving their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Teachers will be provided with training to enable them to effectively teach the fundamentals of AI and explain its applications to students. The Punjab government said the inclusion of AI in the school curriculum was aimed at preparing students for future employment opportunities and a technology-driven economy.
