IISLAMABAD —Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held telephonic conversation with Egyptian FM Dr. Badr Abdelatty amid ongoing tensions between the US and Iran. Foreign Office said on Wednesday that the two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and reaffirmed the close and fraternal ties between the two countries.
They discussed regional developments and the need for close consultations on regional matters, including through the Regional Four (R4) Foreign Ministers, with Saudi Arabia and Turkiye. They also agreed to meet on the sidelines of the forthcoming UNGA in New York.
