American Horror Story season 13: How to watch the new episodes online

Viewers in the US can watch American Horror Story: 13 live on FX, with the episodes also available to stream on Hulu. Hulu subscribers can watch the new episodes at the same time as their FX broadcast.

The season will consist of 13 episodes in total. Following the three-episode premiere, new instalments will continue to arrive throughout October, with the finale scheduled for October 29, just before Halloween. International viewers will be able to watch the season through Disney+, with the global release beginning on September 25.

Availability and release arrangements can vary by territory. The new instalment features the return of several major American Horror Story stars, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. Lange is reprising multiple roles from the anthology, while Peters is also returning to several characters from earlier seasons.

Emma Roberts and John Carroll Lynch are also among the returning performers, while newcomers to the franchise include Joey Pollari, Paul Anthony Kelly and John Waters. The season was originally expected to include Ariana Grande, but the singer ultimately exited the project because of scheduling conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine concert tour.

American Horror Story: 13 marks another major crossover for the anthology, which has previously connected characters and storylines across seasons including Murder House, Coven, Hotel, Cult and Apocalypse. The latest season is not currently confirmed to be the final chapter of the franchise.

Instead, it has been presented as a major new instalment that brings together elements from the show's history while introducing new characters and storylines. With its three-episode premiere now available, fans can follow the remaining episodes weekly through October before the 13th and final episode arrives on October 29.
