KKARACHI —District South Police have arrested more than 10 Afghan nationals during ongoing operations against individuals allegedly residing illegally in Karachi., the crackdown is being carried out on the instructions of South SSP Mahzoor Ali as part of efforts to identify and take action against foreign nationals living in the district without valid legal documentation.
Police officials said the detained Afghan nationals were found to be residing in the city without the required documents. Following their detention, authorities initiated the process of verifying their identities and checking their available travel and residency documents.
The police said that after completion of the identification and document-verification process, the detained individuals were transferred to a transit camp. Officials added that operations against illegally residing foreign nationals are continuing in different areas of District South as part of the ongoing enforcement drive.
