KKARACHI —Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply, reaching a record level in local bullion markets following an increase in international gold prices., the price of gold increased by Rs2,000 per tola, reaching a record Rs440,636. Oil prices jump amid US ME buildup, rising global fuel shortage fears.
The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs1,715 to Rs377,774. In the international market, gold prices increased by $20, with the precious metal closing at a record $4,181 per ounce. Silver prices also continued to rise, with the price of silver increasing by Rs50 per tola to Rs6,578.
