Keith Bowie has been livestreaming her gaming sessions on Twitch under the name “grumpygran48” for nearly nine years. Her interest in Fortnite began in 2017 when she watched her grandson playing the popular online game.
The experience immediately sparked her curiosity, eventually leading her to become a regular player and streamer herself. Speaking to Guinness World Records, Bowie said she still plays Fortnite with the same enthusiasm nearly nine years after discovering the game.
Although she has tried several other video games, Bowie said none has captured her interest in the same way as Fortnite. The Scottish gamer said she preferred describing herself as a “Fortniter” rather than simply calling herself a gamer.
