“Some nations have flawed ballots. Others are cursed to have flawed citizenry. When that is the case, the most honest voting would elect pure evil. A friend of mine called me today and asked me to say a…”

A friend of mine called me today and asked me to say a little prayer. I promised to pray but I asked to know what it is that I am praying for, to which the reply was that Netanyahu must lose the election.

My instant reaction was laughter but I held it and didn't burst out, which is what I really wanted to do. Not at the election but at the stupidity of the average American citizen. My apology to that friend but it doesn't get dumber than that.

I offered advice. I said 'save your prayers for something worthwhile because it is not Benjamin Netanyahu alone that is the problem with Israel'. It is rather an overwhelming majority, if not the entire Israeli society, that is to be blamed for all the crimes against humanity and the genocide and everything in between.

If you look closer at the candidates vying for the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu and Eisenkot, it is not just textbook old wine in a new bottle but also the same old whine about Israel's security needs. We know almost all about Netanyahu but we don't know much about the guy who is challenging his throne.

Gadi Eisenkot was the IDF chief and his son was killed in the Israeli aggression against Gaza. The entire news stories in almost every newspaper I checked are all about how he is either in a tie or maybe in a lead against Netanyahu.

Not much is there about what he actually stands for and what really his opposition is to Netanyahu. I mean if a guy is challenging the incumbent, usually, there is a profound opposition by the challenging candidate.

There is a stark contrast to what he stands for versus what the incumbent has been doing. Iran is a threat to Israel and so Iran must be dealt with. Hamas must be destroyed and not allowed to operate in Gaza.

Israel's security needs must be protected very strongly. You might mistake these previous few sentences as stuff that Netanyahu usually says but that is the election campaign of Eisenkot.

His noise is that Netanyahu isn't the right man to kill the Palestinians and the Iranians and Netanyahu is touting his close relationship with Trump to make the case to the Israeli voters that it is actually him who is more suited to kill innocent people.

I am not here to make the case that Netanyahu is somehow better than Eisekot. I am actually saying, and this is what I tried to explain to my friend who asked for prayers, that peace in the Middle East won't happen if Netanyahu is defeated.

Actually, nothing will change. The Israeli society supports what they call the flattening of Gaza with an overwhelming majority. Polls after polls conclude with the same result.

One thing caught my eye while reading the articles about the Israeli election. During the election in Israel, Netanyahu is acting as a caretaker prime minister. He weakened Iran with help from Trump and now he can't be distracted from finishing the job of annihilating Iran.

Whatever happened to Democratic Peace. Anyway, Eisenkot's critique is that as caretaker prime minister Netanyahu did not possess the authority to fight a war for political purposes. Notice the lack of critique of attacking a sovereign nation unprovoked.

Eisenkot's problem is not war but rather that he wants to be the one shooting orders for war after being elected. A society that votes for people based on better murdering credentials is beyond sick.

The so-called only democracy in the Middle East is also the sole terrorist state in the Middle East. The problem is not democracy but rather the people that make it because democracy only reflects the citizenry.

And this citizenry is bloodthirsty all the time while claiming victimhood. All the time.
