Shariqa was the star for Pakistan, scoring both goals to secure the victory. She opened the scoring with a field goal in the 34th minute before doubling Pakistan’s advantage in the 48th minute. Pakistan maintained their attacking intent while remaining disciplined at the back, preventing Hong Kong China from finding the net and securing a clean sheet.
The Pakistan Junior Women’s team wore jerseys sponsored by Alaska Batteries during the match.
