Man murders sister for honour in Karachi

Initial investigations suggest that she was allegedly killed by her brother in the name of honour. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene and a search operation was launched to arrest him. The victim’s body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said further investigation into the incident is underway. In another incident near Dubai House in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting that police believe may have stemmed from a personal dispute.
Police said four armed suspects opened fire on two men before fleeing the scene. As a result, 25-year-old Abbas was killed, while 17-year-old Abdul Malik sustained injuries., both victims originally belonged to Jacobabad and had moved to Karachi around eight months ago.

The suspects are reportedly relatives of the victims. Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident, while the crime scene unit collected evidence for investigation. The body of Abbas was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination, while Abdul Malik was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
