The military’s media wing said security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district after tracing a militant hideout. "During the conduct of operation, terrorists hideout was identified, monitored and busted through prompt surgical action by own forces killing all 12 India-sponsored terrorists," the ISPR said.
In another operation in Kachhi Bagh, Balochistan, security forces responded promptly to an attempted militant attack and thwarted the assault, the ISPR said. Several militants were killed during the action, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants’ hideout.
The ISPR said improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and ammunition found at the site were destroyed on the spot. A clearance operation is continuing in the area to locate and eliminate any remaining militants, the military said.

The ISPR reaffirmed that counterterrorism operations would continue with full force until the last militant was eliminated. “Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain determined to eliminate terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.
