In a meeting here on Sunday, Asad Qaiser said that the Supreme Court's decision was insulted and the ministers brazenly presented their position in this regard, so action should be taken on the contempt of court case pending in the Supreme Court. He said that the issue of respect for the courts is extremely important.
Those who disrespect the judiciary should be prosecuted for contempt of court and given such a severe punishment that the whole world knows that the judiciary in Pakistan is independent, he demanded. The PTI leader said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is going through difficult times.
“We have a government but we are not being given the right to rule. The state is not fulfilling its commitment to the people of erstwhile Fata and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is not being given a share in the NFC award,” he said.
