Five bodies found with gunshot wounds in Bannu: police

The Express Tribuneon Tuesday., two bodies were recovered from the Feroz Fateh Khel area within the limits of Mandan police station. The deceased were identified as 55-year-old Sher Ayaz Khan and 25-year-old Adnan. "In a separate incident, three bodies were recovered from the Nar Bostan area within the limits of Kaki police station," Khan said.
He further added that the deceased were identified as 44-year-old Karim Khan and 49-year-old Saadullah, while the identity of the third victim had not yet been ascertained. Khan said the bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Bannu, for post-mortem examinations and completion of legal formalities.
"Further details, including the motive behind the killings and the circumstances surrounding the deaths, were not immediately available," he added. Read:Bodies of two missing FC personnel recovered in Bannu.

OnSeptember 21, the bodies of two Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel who went missing from the Saifan Kozi Khel area of Kuram Garhi in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) were recovered from the Kamali graveyard in Palosi. The deceased personnel were identified as Havaldar Ishaq and Sepoy Umar Hayat, both belonging to Platoon No 59.
On. September 14, an Elite Force constable, Ahmadullah, was killed in a firing incident within the jurisdiction of Cantt police station. In another incident in the Paing area of Domel, a civilian was killed during an exchange of fire between members of a peace committee and armed men.
Similarly, a recent allegedquadcopter attackin the Hathi Khel area of Wazir subdivision left a woman and another civilian dead and two others injured. Police and security personnel, including the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Elite Force and members of a local peace committee, subsequently conducted an operation in the area.
Police claimed that a suspected militant was also killed during the operation.
