CM Afridi says first phase of long march to start from Lakki Marwat today

At 1pm, the people of Tank, DI Khan will be part of the long march from Gundi Chowk, Lakki Marwat, he said, adding the people of South and North Waziristan, Bannu and Lakki Marwat will be part of the long march. Sohail Afridi said that this convoy will reach Karak at night and camp there.
On October 5, at 12 noon, the brave people of Karak will join the long march. The federal government and opposition have made progress in negotiations aimed at easing political tensions, with a joint declaration prepared following the second round of talks in Islamabad on Saturday.
The meeting, chaired by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, brought together representatives of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the opposition alliance. The discussions took place amid mounting pressure to resolve differences over the opposition’s planned long march to the federal capital on October 4.
