Batting first, Pakistan posted 177 for four in their allotted 20 overs. Sri Lanka chased down the target in 17.5 overs, losing just two wickets to secure their place in the final. Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu led the chase with an unbeaten 83, while Hasini Perera contributed 42 runs.
For Pakistan, Fatima Sana and Nashra Sandhu claimed one wicket each. Ayesha Zafar top-scored for Pakistan with 71 runs, while Shawaal Zulfiqar scored 54. Sri Lanka’s victory earned them a place in the Asian Games women’s cricket final, while Pakistan will now compete for the bronze medal.
