LLAHORE —Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has called on the government and protesters to engage in dialogue and continue negotiations, saying that a solution can be found if there is a genuine intention to resolve issues.
In a post on social media platform X, Saad Rafique urged the government and protesters to rise above egos, stubbornness and factional divisions. He said neither side would emerge as a winner as everyone was suffering losses.
He said the state should always take the initiative and urged the relevant sides to take steps to prevent loss of life and property.

He described damaging each other’s dignity as an undignified act, saying Pakistan was suffering from inflation, unemployment, injustice and terrorism and that its concerns should be heard.-N leader, the common man had been pushed to the limit and was not interested in debates, confrontations, allegations or claims of achievements. He said making a living had become extremely difficult.
Saad Rafique said wounds could turn into lasting problems if they were not treated in time, adding that the nation could then have to pay the price for decades. He further said history was being written and could neither be imprisoned nor stopped.
Those who left behind unresolved wounds would always remain answerable to history.
