MMUZAFFARABAD —Newly elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Barrister Iftikhar Ali Gillani has announced that internet services and the region’s entry and exit routes will be restored within the next two days.
Speaking to the media during his first visit to the Central Press Club, Gillani said all internal and external routes of Azad Kashmir would be reopened within two days. He said internet services would also be restored in phases, with educational institutions being prioritised in the first phase.
Internet connectivity for educational institutions is expected to be restored within the next two days. AJK PM Iftikhar Gilani visits Shah Ghulam Qadir to ease tensions amid party rift. Gillani said the Kashmir freedom movement and good governance would remain among the key priorities of his government.

He added that the government would take steps to address public grievances and improve administrative affairs across Azad Kashmir. Barrister Iftikhar Gillani, a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate, was elected the 17th prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir two days ago after securing 30 votes in the AJK Legislative Assembly.
