    A key opposition meeting was held at the chamber of Leader of the Opposition Raja Nasir Abbas, attended by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Barrister Gohar and Salman Akram Raja. The meeting also discussed in detail the planned September 27 protest, with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership instructed to make full preparations for the protest.

    The opposition also decided to contact all political parties and convene an All-Parties Conference (APC) over the deteriorating situation in the country.

    The Tehreek Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan will hold a meeting on September 15 to review preparations for the APC., the opposition leader has also replied to the prime minister’s letter and sought a date and time for consultations with the premier. Opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai responded to the letter after consulting with other opposition leaders.
